The 3M Rodent Repellent Coating is a specially developed formulation which repels rodents from the engine bay and entry areas like the wheel arch. This ‘barrier’ coating prevents unexpected damage caused by rodents.
Apply it on Engine Cable and Hoses, Couplers and grommets, Wires, rubber, plastic hoses, Wheel arch area. Spray potential entry points around your home which could include around doors & windows, pipes, cracks & crevices, and vents. Repeat application every 30 days. More frequent application may be required after periods of heavy rainfall and if more damage or rodent activity is noticed.
The 3M Rodent Repellent coating is claimed to address the issue of rodents damaging electric cables and rubber parts in cars. The product can be applied to the under body of the vehicle, in the wheel arches as well as in the engine bay. The vehicle is first inspected and the customer is informed about the damage caused by rodents. The engine surface is then cleaned and the area of application is dried with an air blower. The product is then applied to the recommended areas. One can of 3M Rodent Repellent is sufficient for a vehicle and can last for up to 6 months.
